A classic of the African savannah, the blue or common wildebeest is a large antelope and one of the two species of excisting wildebeest.

They live in large populations, up to over a million animals like in the Serengeti. They are a major prey items for lions, hyenas and crocodiles. Hunters love the animals, as their skulls make beautiful trophies: it looks it forms a heart upside down.
