DESCRIPTION/EXPERTISE
War Clubs from the Solomon Islands are very variable and could be a field of collecting on their own. This club (we have two in our stocks) are coming from the Island of Santa Isabel, and have a very fine and fragile decorative fiber wrap on the grip. The sharp edges of the clubs could break bones and cut flesh like swords.
This type of clubs are dated around the 19th century.
